I want to mention that my teacher, Rabbi Leff from cincinnati, said that HaShem sends up snow during the winter becuase it's a time when things are cold, people might feel depressed, and our only holiday ( comemoration) is chanuka ( not to put down chanukah.) So we get snow, usually, as a reminder that Hashem is there and wants us to be happy and hopeful. You can expound on that if you want. all the same, be well!

cuase snow is white = light. get it? like when it's dark and cold outside cause it's the winter and the sun is 'far' from the earth. well HaShem isn't He's here, that's why He sends us snow, cuase it's light in colour, to remind us taht He's here
